Ideation 8,216
A game bred bull terrier is a world away from any other breed of terrier. . . . . Folk seem to blend together drive, gameness and tenacity. . . . . . . which are different things. Out of interest nl, what would make you suggest that the beady would have greater drive than the pit? 1 Quote Link to post

Kemperz21 65
Prob off topic a little but an American pitbull in the uk is a type of breed that is banned yes ? Well I've read online that it is the characteristics of said dog that determin the ban not DNA of the breed ie head shape ,muscle structure and what ever else they use to determin if it is a banned dog so my question is if this is the case would a first or second cross pit / grey lurcher loose enough of these characteristics to become legal if my thoughts are way off the mark please enlighten me I personally would have thought the police would use DNA testing to prove one way or another but I'm sure I read about the testing on a gov website Quote Link to post
sawyer 94
Ive often wondered about this aswel. I knew a lad who bought a staffie and the vet said it was a pit because of the shape of its eyes! Its looked fuk all like a pit! They made him produce the papers and it got investigated Quote Link to post
