If you can get out with a pal who has a dog already hunting thats even better. In a few months you will be more worried about getting him back than anything. atb J. Quote Link to post

If there's scent he should fly into the cover atb Best tip there is, I have a Lakie that's 18 month now and thought he was a bit slow picking it up, he was not there just was very little game on the ground. Take him some place with plenty rabbits, foxes and squirrels and see the difference it makes. Quote Link to post
