Ricky-N.p.p 0
JUst picked up a second hand falcon lightweight from a shop that is closing down...lovely little gun but got it home yesterday put her on the pump but the air is coming strait out the end of the barrel.... I think there must be a seal or summit fecked in there somewhere but thought i would just check that i'm not missing something as i'v never charged one of these before....am I doing something wrong ???? ziggy1 0
Was the gun completely empty. If so you won't pump enough air in fast enough to seal the valve. So get some one with a divers bottle to fill it them just fill it with the pump when it's half way down. Quote Link to post
maty j 6
if there owt like AA there could be a safety valve thingy that ditches the air under about 50bar. as has been said use a bottle. ive heard cocking it first can sometimes get it to take the charge so something to try?? tote 856
I had a similair experience with my AA S410K when I tried to pump it up from empty,I couldn't get any air into the cylinder. I asked a mate who had done the same thing and he told me to hold the trigger in,it took air right away. Then after 25-30 pumps release the trigger. So like maty j says it could be a safety valve or suchlike. Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
i had a bit of grit get in the charging port, all the air seeped out over night. blew it out and pumped it by hand and it was fine. Quote Link to post
bill88 6
Ricky try what i said the other night.Put the gun on a divers bottle and whack the valve open a couple of time's.When pumping, there isn't enough pressure behind the valve to shut it properly, but with a blast of high pressure it should reseat, and take the air.HTH's.Bill Quote Link to post

bill88 6
cheers guys, my mate has a divers bottle so i'll try the first fill with that, as i say when i used the pump the air is just coming right out the end of the barrell Ricky when you connect the bottle, put the air in fairly sharpish,if you try and bleed it in gently the valve wont seat, and you'll be in the same boat as using the pump.Just be carefull, and keep an eye on the gauge. It might take a few attempts to get the valve to seat, but it will.Been in the same boat maself.Bill P.S dont use all the air when your shooting,if you run it empty, you'll be back where you started.Always leave a wee bit of pressure in the gun,it'll protect the seals, and keep everything tight.
