Beginner To Lamping. What Dog?

Hi,

 

I am thinking about getting a lurcher to start lamping.

 

I will only really be lamping rabbits on flat fields.

 

I was thinking about getting a bedlington whippet.

 

What are you thoughts on bedlington whippets?

 

or should I choose a different lurcher and why?

Bit more brains with the greyhound in it to be a bit better big fields than a dog with just whipp in I'd get a beddy whipp for ferreting

Beddy whippet will be small which will limit capabilities somewhat. if you want the type I'd go for something with a bit of greyhound such as a Beddy/whippet X greyhound to give a little more size, versatility.
