My pups 8 month now gets taken out 5 times a day 3 short 2 long walks . At weekends he's ether ferreting all day with we or first light we could be out walking for upto 3 hours , Ive had him lamping , every thing a dog needs

Vets tell you what they want you to do but I bet they don't do it there selfs , our lass had blade at the vets a little bit back for check up she came home convinced he need castrating she said they were prity force full I went mad they talked her into getting Molly done when she was a pup nothing I could do as working away

You your self will know when and by how much the needs mate the more time you spend with it the more you will under stand it if I were you on a farm I'd take it every where ATB and good look with it . Mark

This is my lurcher pup at 8 weeks. Running free. Confidence is coming along nicely. Recall is coming on well too.

The sooner the dogs out in the field the better. I will walk this pup for about 1 hour a day and as someone said earlier if hes not out running in a field hes running around at home. At least taking him out gets him used to different noises, even cattle. Its all about building a bond with the dog.

See him playing here at youtube
