paulus 26
if they don't know about your dogs there hardly likely to steel them are they, Quote Link to post
Leeview 791
Does it not ring any alarm bells if someone has sold 20 0dd dogs in a month . . . maybe they are all from adds on gumtree . . . . but I'd make a fair bet that some of those dogs had been nicked, maybe not by him, but by scallys looking to earn some coin. As long as folk are willing to buy dogs no questions asked, dogs will be stolen. If some dog dealer sold you a genuine decent working lurcher he'd only had a few days . . . . wouldn't you be thinking stolen??? Do you honestly believe a dog dealer is going to tell you he's only just got the dog from a gumtree advert? or more likely its a 5/5 dog but hes lost his license/going down/wifes terminally ill so I've no choice but to fleece you? fagaen 282
if hes stole from you go take his dooroff giving him prior warning on here because he comes on here will only make him not be where you want him to be ie the show get to his door if hes done you a wrong turn Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
No leeview. . . . but folk were defending dog dealers, and suggesting that they are all just 'free to good home' or cheap dogs that they are passing on, and the only wrong is telling porky pies about how good the dog is. . . . But I think if a man is selling over 20 dogs a month. . . . it's a good chance that some of those dogs are stolen, is all I'm saying. 1 Quote Link to post
steve2507 522
Right he didnt steal from me but i was giving a tip off he was after mine asking if they in kennels or house ,not only that we where at a show the other year I met him not knowing who he was after show went home my pal parked out side in his pick up and his pick got done over luckily his dog was in my garden my neighbour discribed a fat c**t with a ginger goatie last night my pal told me and showed me all i need to know ,now from what I have read here some people think this person is to be left to his own buisness ....so tell me this when a peddler can't find out to peddle and is in need what is next they take what's not there's to keep up selling and making money , so those that think these sort of c**ts are ok then lets hope i don't read the old popular on here ( please help my dogs been stolen ) from use as by the sounds of you condone what they do !!! 12 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
I'm fairly sure Hancock breeds his? That's not really an argument mate. Look, I give up. Dog dealers are fine, there is nothing whatsoever strange about a man being in possession of shit tons of unrelated lurchers, that he didn't breed, trying to make a quick buck on them. And I don't think that any of these dog dealers are in any way selling stolen dogs and so therefore fueling the thefts, or indeed committing them, themselves. Quote Link to post

Huan72 687
The problem is that people are peddling dogs for a quick buck without any concern for the dog whatsoever and these types will pass on stolen dogs, knowing full well that they are stolen if there's a profit in it, just like they would a stolen bike. How anyone into dogs of any type, running, digging, bushing or even sledging can support these types has really knocked me for six. As well as getting dogs by deception to sell, there will be a fair few of em who will be fencing dogs for dog thieves, its just common sense. What frightens me is that people actually think these types are just harmless folk, trying to make a quick buck. They would pass on your stolen dog quicker than look at you if the price was right 10 Quote Link to post

Brigzy 1,298
I still don't get it; is this guy a dog thief or a dog peddler ? Both are scum, but surely a dog thief is the lowest of the low ? Quote Link to post
