gasman 53
Was plumber not partners with D H in the original working terrier / warthog mag? Some good reading in the early earth dog mags for a beginner, much better than any terrier books of today IMOP Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
This was the only one I remember having any practical tips in it when I was younger....but I read this a long time ago and haven't picked it up since. I think I've got two copies as well for some reason. I will check tonight and if I have, then if anybody wants one, it's theirs. Can't vouch for if it's any good or not though. Hobson.jpg Just goes to show what some people will do for money. The author of that particular book is openly Anti-terrierwork. Quote Link to post

neil cooney 10,416
Could be Waz, I read the CMW but refuse to read his articles so maybe he said that. Mind you, the CMW has improved recently. Nice to see some articles nowadays in it about what a terrier should be doing under the sod. Quote Link to post

Stabs 3
I haven't read the CMW for years so I didn't know this bloke was writing for them, or the subject of his writing. Last time I picked up a copy of CMW was when I was back in England in 2011 and I had a few hours to spare in Barnard Castle. Good to hear that there's a few proper terrier articles in there though. Who is writing those? Quote Link to post
