mattybugeye 884
Try a red led ultrafire 501b with a diy fitted refractive lens (turns beam from flood to spot and adds tons more throw/range). Order bits from china for peanuts, paint the existing refractor black and with a couple of rechargable 18650 batteries your lamping all night. No heavy battery or wires. Its all i use nowadays - my cumbersome lamps are redundant now and this set up is more than enough power for sub 12 lamping. +1 on toms post I used a deban tracer max scope mounted before getting a ultrafire and modding the refractive its miles beter mine is the red one too . A awsum bit of kit and cheap as chips you won't be disappointed let us know how you get on Quote Link to post

tomburras 2,730
You can buy 18650 batteries for a pound each and a charger for less than a fiver, the only bad part is waiting for stuff to arrive from china! Quote Link to post
roosika 110
Won't be getting my new gun till late February so if I get it all order now should be okay Quote Link to post

The cheap Chinese 18650 batteries are not getting good reviews and are deemed potentially unsafe. I'm sure there are those who have never had a problem but that's not the risk I would wish to run. Contact compound archer on here. He will sort you out with better and safer 18650 batteries AND give you a guarantee. Quote Link to post
