Longers7 720
Do you only have the 1 ferret mate? Normally better to work 2 Jill's as rabbits can sometimes give 1 ferret the runaround under ground? 1 Quote Link to post
Ryancarney1 0
Only 1 mate Quote Link to post
Longers7 720
Maybe consider getting another Jill mate,as they also like to have company when not working, and like I said you will find the rabbits will give 1 ferret the runaround in a warren, also with Jill's when they come into season you will have to deal with that, either breed them, Jill jab or put them in with a vasectomised hob etc to bring them out of season, jmo Quote Link to post
Ryancarney1 0
Thanks for the help mate, better understanding now Quote Link to post
Nick3439 83
I work 1 Jill and 1 hob; the gill does the actual work; the hob just plods a long to stop them getting the run around; he's also so much more chilled than her (and more 'pet like') so worth considering that (I've got him castrated) Quote Link to post
