I've been making nets for a few years now,but this last year I've made more than ever before,and I'm getting a numb index finger on my left hand, is there any net makers who get this and what can I do to prevent it?

nothing the same as the hard lumps that develop on ends of your thumb.index finger and underneath the little finger

My hard numb bit is on my L/H ring finger, from straightening the meshes on the back of the board. Nothing the occasional nibble wont fix. I taught a lad to make nets the other day, and when we`re not ferreting, he`s knitting, you should see his hands Blisters on popped blisters..
