walshie 2,804
Must say I was disappointed that the jocks booed the England team onto the ground. I understand the old rivalry, but that's not what rugby's about. Still....

Tiercel 6,986
Given Wales total non display at the weekend, no one seemed up for it we were playing like as if it did not matter, there just was no fire in their bellies. I am wondering if it is the uncertainty over the future of club rugby in wales and the cental contact affair. Or is it the old chestnut of it being after a lions year where traditionally France win the six nations? One thing is for certain gatland ball did not work on Saturday. johnny boy68 11,726
Out-muscled, out-thought and out-played in every facet of the game, every time we tried getting some phases together a stupid mistake was made. Lots saying we never had a Plan B but in all honesty we never even had a Plan A, the Irish back row were really good and with the rest of the pack playing well too they didn't give us a look in. Sextons kicking game was excellent and he had a arm chair ride all day putting some great kicks in that Trimble and Kearney could attack all game and D'Arcy and BOD defended great......when they had too. I thought we looked flat again and had no pace to our game again and I think its time to start with Webb at 9 and maybe get some younger more hungry players into the pack. I don't think I've seen so many penalties given away from us and any kind of momentum was fecked before we got going, I think when we got denied from playing our game we forgot that we had to stop them playing, they mauled us off the park all game, disrupted our set pieces and in general made us look poor. Credit to Ireland they did their homework and stuck to the game plan and took us to the sword, they played really well and deserved the win. We got a week off now to try and get our tournament back up and running again but with France unbeaten and starting to look a bit more confident we could struggle this year.

TC Ireland also went a little way in deciding the outcome of the game, Well played Ireland you deservred to win that game. Wayne Barnes you are a disgrace as a ref. I lost count of the times the welsh were on their feet over the ball and you would still not blow up. Ireland won fair and square they were the better team on the day. Barnes what a fcuking Tosser. Dave As per my post straight after the match. TC
