Welsh team.

Wales (v France): Leigh Halfpenny (Cardiff Blues); Alex Cuthbert (Cardiff Blues), George North (Northampton Saints), Jamie Roberts (Racing Metro), Liam Williams (Scarlets), Rhys Priestland (Scarlets), Rhys Webb (Ospreys); Gethin Jenkins (Cardiff Blues), Richard Hibbard (Ospreys), Adam Jones (Ospreys), Luke Charteris (Perpignan), Alun Wyn Jones (Ospreys), Dan Lydiate (Racin Metro), Sam Warburton (Capt, Cardiff Blues), Taulupe Faletau (Newport Gwent Dragons).

Replacements: Ken Owens (Scarlets); Paul James (Bath), Rhodri Jones (Scarlets), Jake Ball (Scarlets), Justin Tipuric (Ospreys), Mike Phillips (Racing Metro), Dan Biggar (Ospreys), James Hook (Perpignan).

Thank god he has rested Mike Phillips perhaps we can get quick ball now. One worring factor is that Basteraud is fit to start, North is playing in the centre he will have his hands full trying to contain him, Norths defence is suspect to say the least.

Why is he persisting with Priestland? We never play well when he's at 10..

I have asked myself this question over and over. The only answer that makes sense is that he does as he is told and sticks to the gameplan. But to be fair to him he does take the ball right to the gainline before offloading and does keep the defence honest. You watch on Friday he will take the ball up not giving the rush defence an opportunity to rush. We will see what a quicker service will do for him on Friday, he has been living off of very slow ball of Mike Phillips. When he plays for the scarlets he plays a different game entirely the ball is always a lot quicker.
