bryanm45 787
Just had tax code sent through for April 2014 to April 2015 and because we have now been putting our nat insurance no for payment of £20 for beating the tax man listed the estate as a second income and has taken £2500 of of my tax free allowance, has anyone else had this happen to them yet. Born Hunter 17,763
I've just renamed my 'beating money' jam jar as 'birthday money'. HMRC won't have a clue!

mattlimb 27
Do not see this as a problem, it is an opportunity! If they tax the income then the expenses are claimed against tax; so boots, waterproofs, travel; etc. Do you work dogs beating? Then dog food, vets bills etc etc You should be able to claim as much back as you earn with the typical low paid 'second income' from beating

mackay 3,364
Fuel, wear and tear of your vehicle, clothes, boots, wellies, dog food, vet bills, boosters, get receipts for some of the gear your mates buy, by the time you're finished they'll owe you money.
