AshR1 214
wont be for a couple of months i dont think but we intend to get a whippet, the idea is for it to be mums BUT the little snap dog is going to be coming out with me and my lurcher no doubt about it , we're doing some info searching on them and searching about for breeders and was wondering if anybody knows of any reputable breeders in our area. We're in no hurry so dont mind waiting for it, all information and help given will be appreciated. Doesn't really matter too much about it being from worker stock but it will be out with the ferret for definite and might give it some goes on the lamp also. Also anyone got first hand experience with their working whippets ferreting tales/lamping/mooching info and images would be nice for a read up Quote Link to post

wuyang 513
Everybody goes about it differently, Personally I'd just go worker to worker that's doing the job now... Wouldn't give two hoots about previous bloodlines. Have a look on the working whippet forum, usually they will announce litters plenty of time in advance, but be careful a few people on there knock them out for the £££££....... Genuine blokes will give you the chance to see them working and will be breeding to keep one back. It's amazes me how many when I was looking were breeding their bitch and not keeping a pup. Good luck,,, cracking little dogs if they have the right temperament. 1 Quote Link to post
