NEWKID 27,370
Bruce, keane, hughes, robson, for our manager wtf?? And you call yourself a utd geez i stick with moyes over that bunch and newkid did you say utd dont need a rebuild?? Over the next two years there will be a clearout you watch.. I mean in a whe club sense mate, not just rebuilding a team.. But that's what is needed, Fergie done that a fair few times, but he got the club right first.. He's left Moyes with not a great team, but a great club... Moyes needs on use the Experiance in the club, Fergie had mike phelan, Brian mclair, ole etc... Moyes needs to lean on Giggs, Scholes, Neville etc

fagaen 282
moyes made the mistake of sacking everything and everyone that made man utd all the coaching staff and people you never hear of or see and brought in his own men who have no experience with a team at such a high level . he should of took the time to pick up a few tips from them before fecking them off hell regret it now ..
baw 4,360
I think we all know the Man U we once knew has gone forever. Once it was one if not thee richest clubs in the world, debt free. One of the best teams in Europe, dominated the EPL, buying the best players, had arguably the best manager, that's the Man U we all know. Now? Owned by Americans who have given the club a mountain of debt. Aging side that will be lucky to dominate the domestic cups never mind Europe and a manager that's mediocre at best. That's the short and long of it. Moyes was the final nail on the end of an era we shall never see again.

It is still the second most valuable club in the world, has the highest commercial revenue and is third richest in the world after Real Madrid and Barcelona.. I know I shouldn't bite but you don't half come out with some shite off the top of your head mate..

Malt 379
f**k knows mate.. Theoretically me, you or somebody without a penny to their name could have done exactly the same, once that club is in your name the banks have a cast iron guarantee that their money is safe.. Crazy ain't it. If I remember though mate, correct me if I'm wrong, Man U didn't want to sell but something to do with the stock market, they were forced into a buy over, is that right? oneredtrim 148
The club can be bought for a bill and quarter, the paddys bid a bill and got knocked back.
oneredtrim 148
I've been a Utd fan for as long as I've watched football ( over 30 years), but this is nothing like when Fergie took over, he had a full re build job to do, the club is a different animal now... this year will be a wash out, RVP and Rooney are needed back ASAP... there is no strength in depth, everyone know they haven't made the signings required ( Moyes was let down on that)... The verdicts obviously out now on Moyes, but who should be there? or who could follow Fergie? Guardiola or Merinho........manager who player can respect because they have won things with the biggest clubs in the world Both had made their decisions I think mate, the mistake Moyes made was clearing out all of Fergies background staff, he lost a lot of experience in one hit there I agree with that.. Fergie told him to keep the backroom staff in place, at least until the transition was complete and the dust had settled.. We cleared nearly £100m over the last financial year, and that was after the massive debt payments and interest have been taken into account. This is money that should be invested back on the pitch. There's a little proviso within that money raising arrangment Malt...it can be called back-in should Trafford not qualify for European football two yrs on the bounce. Fergie got an awful lot of credit for all them young kids that come through, Kidd was specifically headhunted by City after it was clocked the fall off rate for 14-18yr olds prospects and foreseeing a barca type training complex with schooling and housing in the very near future, Kidd was used by Trafford for recruitment/overseeing purposes going back to his playing days...his manner provides the Yang needed, perhaps why he his held in such high esteem when walking around the city regardless of working for both clubs. and by Evertonians Yeah....or just about anyone that ever meets him. @IanCheeseman 8mLopes praised the holistic approach at #mcfc which is making his transition to first team more straightforward
Malt 379
Lot of talk about United signing Mata. Great player, but where would he fit in to the team? We already have a half decent attacking midfielder in Kagawa who keeps getting shunted out to the left wing position. We need a midfielder or two but we need the right ones.. bracken boy 584
As present kagawa cant unlock a defence and mata can, mata prob dosnt work as hard but we need a mata master key.
oneredtrim 148
Chelsea wont let Mata go to Trafford without them releasing Rooney, i'd think the Real intrest this morning was simply the bum steer to hurry the job. Tidy player Mata, though the signings that are made now are becoming more important than normal. Did'nt realise till very recently 20 mills was paid for Anderson all them yrs ago, it's one thing having dough but not tossing it off is another.
baw 4,360
What's the story with Rooney and Van Persie, are they really injured?
