WILF 46,534
My view of football has always been simple, the league don't lie and it's true. I said this for years when people used to rave about Moyes........what has he done? What has he won?.......and the true answer is not much.......you would describe his record as mediocre. It's not good enough to say if this or that happened we would have won instead of lost........if you score more goals than the other side you win and the better side who are better prepared and mentally and physically stronger, who pass and move better, who defend better and who keep the ball better win Simple as that Mediocre is good enough for 75% of teams in the Prem but for one of the top clubs in the world?......not in my book. NEWKID 27,047
I've been a Utd fan for as long as I've watched football ( over 30 years), but this is nothing like when Fergie took over, he had a full re build job to do, the club is a different animal now... this year will be a wash out, RVP and Rooney are needed back ASAP... there is no strength in depth, everyone know they haven't made the signings required ( Moyes was let down on that)... The verdicts obviously out now on Moyes, but who should be there? or who could follow Fergie?

Don't think any of them would've done any better mate, Keane especially, loved him as a footballer, but he's not right for management IMO... Ole, may have been the one, he would've kept the back ground staff and added Giggs, Scholes and I reckon Gary Neville into the coaching mix, there wouldv'e been respect through out imo
