some time I just stay local if I need the car early next morning (cant be assed to clean it out) so I just walk on the football fields near my house I only get 4-5 runs on each one and thes a park as well I have been court on there with dog and lamp loads of times buy police they just see what I was doing and off they go worst think that has happened was I was told not to lamp it again tonight as I has woken up some people in the house backing on to the field its less hassle on public land than it is hopping gates at least you are aloud on the field

I didn't mean to be too harsh . . .

But honestly, you don't have to be a genius to realise that there is no such thing as 'public land'. . . . and that parks and public gardens are not designated as convenient hunting preserves . . . .

EVERYTHING is owned by someone. . . . whether that person objects or catches you is another matter.

Yes I appreciate what you are saying but uk law is a complicated thing so many loop holes it's not cut an Dried in every instance in all honesty I think if you ask a question no mater how silly it may seem to some better to ask on a forum such as this because if I was caught doing said act and in my defence I said I didn't know I'm sure people would have said why didn't you ask we would have told you!!! But instead you have brought our sport into the spotlight in a bad way !!!

" Public Land ", in the very vastest majority of cases, will be council owned land.

You'd have more chance of getting ye head up my behind than ye would have gaining permission to 'hunt' from a council.

Unless, of course, you're in USA?

this i had council come round to my house for hunting on some waste ground mate whatevers public you need council permission to do it right
