Kemperz21 65
I know this has probably been asked before but can I legally hunt rabbits with my lurcher on public land I'm not on about daytime mishaps I'm on about going out with a lamp purposely to hunt rabbits not trying to lie an say oh sorry I was just walking my dog with my lightforce lamp any answers would be great also who would be able to challenge me if I was to hunt public land Quote Link to post
trenchfoot 4,243
all land belongs to "somebody", so even if there is public access, you need permission from that "somebody" - legally anyway 1 Quote Link to post
Con6212 155
Where there's land there's an owner, and without that owners permission your poaching. Simple as that pal Edited January 19, 2014 by Con6212 Quote Link to post

Outlaw Pete 2,224
" Public Land ", in the very vastest majority of cases, will be council owned land. You'd have more chance of getting ye head up my behind than ye would have gaining permission to 'hunt' from a council. Unless, of course, you're in USA? 1 Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
It amazes me that there is a steady stream of people thick enough to ask this! I mean..... Come on!!! 3 Quote Link to post
morton 5,368
Im only in my early 50,s,before we start ive heard them all before,is that your sister, when im with the daughter,is that your brother when im with my son,is that your mum,we get the gist, yet its not that long ago that youngsters spied game and thought about chasing it before they even considered who,s land it was on,is this the times we live in now?,the lurcher and its owner as suffered persecution for centuries, with little negative impact,i do worry for the future. Kemperz21 65
It amazes me that there is a steady stream of people thick enough to ask this! I mean..... Come on!!!I only asked because I was not sure I was not on about a local playing field I was on about an area only used for dog walkers cyclists and walkers set aside for public recriation miles from anywhere i don't know every single law in the uk this is why I asked better to be called stupid for asking and then deciding not going to do that rather than doing it anyway and getting caught with your pants down as would many many of the people on here not caring about permission Quote Link to post
