Ibracadabra 5
What's everyone's favourite colour of ferret? Personally I like the albino as its easier to spot. However I've always wanted a polecat because I like their bandit masks and the natural wild colour. Quote Link to post

Gaj1612 99
I've got 2 polecat Jill's a polecat hob and a sandy Jill. The sandy Jill is easy to spot but the polecats are cool looking animals Quote Link to post
Ibracadabra 5
I like to keep hobs but whenever I've tried to get hold of a polecat one they're always huge! Quote Link to post

The one 8,494
Got the lot here but there here because there grafters no because of there colours Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
I've got most colors here, and like has been said, couldn't really care . . . . But albinos are easier to spot in cover. Seem to be moving into mostly polecats though, just the way the line has gone, and as my best two workers are a poley jill and hob, it looks like that's the way it will continue. Although the poley line does through sandys, and I do quite like them, as not a lot of folk seem to work them. . . . . Quote Link to post
The one 8,494
Its the other way for me albino's,sandy's bews and various shades of silvers and one poley as i struggle to see her in a hedge or under shadows Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
I'd rather light colors to be honest mate, for that reason, but i've had to go with best to best. I had a cracking silver jill. . . . who was one of the best ferrets i've ever had. I was going to breed from her the summer just gone. But last season she had a stroke. . . . She is still here, but unfit to carry kits, it just wouldnt be fair. SO that plan was scuppered. . . . and she was also my only unrelated ferret . . . . . So now I have, amongst a generally good team. . . a cracking little poley jill, and a cracking poley hob. . . . But they are fecking brother and sister! So now i need to breed him and her, and put the offspring back together in years to come. . . . Hopefully I can use ferrets from the same line, but just a little more distanced! Quote Link to post
