pat blewitt 41
I had a canon bridge, got some great shots with it, and you can use it on manual or point and shoot, I've gone to a DSLR, 600d now, after doing a course at the local college, and I'm shooting manual most of the time. Bridge is smaller, and can be tucked into a big pocket, but the DSLR is bigger, bulkier and will need a bag, heres a couple from the DSLR yesterday http://www.flickr.com/photos/63771280@N08/12092288685/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/63771280@N08/12092934746/

Kay 3,709
I have pretty much given up on my dslr .. i use a canon point & shoot thing now.. cant be bothered changing lens & carting the stuff round with me .. cant say I have had any worse images using the bridge camera point & shoot thing to be honest If your happy with the end result I genuinely don't think it matters what you use these days
