bryson 562 Posted January 17, 2014 Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 well to sum it up and this may take a while ha i put alot of time and effort in to my whip x Grey getting him ready for the season to begin and he was in good shape but then the injurys started first was a toe then a decent skin tear now this time off took be up to just before xmas i took him out again the night after xmas and decided to take the pup out to see whats what hes nearly 8 month now we had a good night with the pup getting his first catch on the lamp on his first night out and his first run i left it at that and called it a night The next night i went out was on the night before new years eve i was having a decent night out untill someone kept lamping me back everytime my lamp went on so i thought i best go over and see who it was i thought it was the keeper taking the piss (i had full permission) but the closer i got i noticed a bright yellow jacket so i went straight over long story short i ended up with a caution and my lamp was siezed for poaching (on permission) now this has been cleared up now the police came last friday to say there would be no futher action but my main permission is lost 16000 acres the company i worked for has gave up the shooting rights and someone else is taking over and he doesnt want dogs any where near i am gutted to say the least and then yesterday i got a call to say my other permission is lost also 3000 acres because some bell end has been letting there dog tank in to the sheep this leaves me with 1 place left to go but this place is a haven for young lads with dogs so its pretty worthless to me now anyway rant over now but to sum things up im left with a whip x grey that cant run anymore and a pup that i cant run till next year with no permission as it stands ROLL ON NEXT SEASON ONWARDS AN UPWARDS Quote Link to post

bird 9,863 Posted January 17, 2014 Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 no chance of loosing my dogs i was on full permission just the police being cxxts well you done nothing wrong and lost the ground, but you know the ground very well don't you , so carry on , ok it not what you wanted to do, but most jump over the fence to work there dogs, you wont be the 1st or last person going on there . I was talking to young lad today o n my dog walk , he been going over not far from me, not had many rabbits I knew that my self lol, but 1 night he seen another lamp as well , that's 2 poaching the same ground lol it seems lurchers+lamping more popular than ever before 1 Quote Link to post
