BIGLURKS 874
A lot of aggression too other dogs could be from fear of the other dogs and its is coming out as her trying too have a go but I would try and get it nipped in the but quick before it becomes a real problem Quote Link to post
bird 9,936
On or off the lead?? Has she ever been atacked by another dog while out, Is she the same off lead a lot dogs are more aggressive on the lead true, you get few nutters that will attack not on a lead. Was out the other day with dogs for a hour, took older dog back then went for another walk with my young dog. a bloke had loose a pit type dog it looked a lot of pit in it to me having been round bull breeds years. it seen Buck my young dog and went right to him, I though feckin hell but the bloke shouted he ok mate he wont hurt your dog he friendly , and fair play his dog was ok. he was chasing Buck none stop for a good 5-6 mins round the field lol bloke said your dog can shift carnt he . Buck slowed down and this pit thing started to wrestle him to the floor, and was trying to hold him down lol ive been out of bull breeds long while and must have forgot how powerful they are , Buck strong pup 28in odd lb this pit thing was prob only 1/2 his weight and 20in it could have killed Buck I reckon if it wanted, but the bloke was right he was ok temp just rough good job Buck was a big lump lol Quote Link to post
forest of dean redneck 11,624
If it was mine, and guessing that by walking down the street ,the dogs leashed I would yank the lead hard shouting no or use the command leave it,and if persists then cut a thin whippy branch out a shrub etc and tap it on the nose ,when it went for another dog, same method I use for persistent lead pullers. 1 Quote Link to post
