keepdiggin 9,560
Its the RSPCA what do you expect!!! Anyone who can go into a families home and take their beloved pet in front of crying children needs to give their head a wobble.
Blackbriar 8,569
Several other dog rescue sites are carrying the same story. You perhaps wouldn't believe it, but I know a few rescue co-ordinators who won't give ArsePCA the time of day because of this and the appalling number of animal destructions they carry out each year. Ideation 8,216
See this is the kind of stuff that should be broadcast. It's this kind of stuff that can be used to turn the fluffy bunny brigade against the RSPCA. Imagine that?
Born Hunter 17,832
That video seemed to make out that the act of pithing is somehow shocking? What's shocking about it? Secondly, I don't know why these 10 GSDs were put down but haven't particularly got a problem with it personally.
bobkizzyhugo 40
i think this is a old story. and the version i heard years ago now was that the rspca had bolted a number of gsd's but failed to pith them afterwards. bolt gun seems ok to me, its good enough for other stock, why not a dog? i think the act of pithing an animal is a little offputting to most, as it is quite hands on and fairly graphic compared to necking a rabbit say.
