baw 4,360
I think a bigger rip off is school uniforms, I'd hate to have 3 or 4 kids all at school age.
dogs-n-natives 1,182
I take my kid out of school all the fecking time, and always will. There are often more important things happening in our lives than school ffs. I wont let my lad miss out on special events that happening outside of school. some things are far more valuable than learning a load of mind numbing shite day in day out. lol Personally, I don't agree with that......education is one of the most important things to me for my kids.......yes sometimes it's boring for them, yes it's a drag sometimes but as I always say to them "it's easy to be ordinary, that takes no effort at all" I was released from full time education at 14 because I was a complete dick and have knocked my bollocks out since a week after that, but if I had the education knowing what I know now, I would never have to work again. Each to their own but it's school, school, school for mine I think at home or on the farm, or even in the woods... sometimes there are events, or special occasions, that I feel are way more important than any of the schools teachings, life lessons and such, are of immense value to me. I respect the no days off approach, but its not for me, Id rather home school them than have such intense rules
