juckler123 707 Posted September 21, 2007 Report Share Posted September 21, 2007 Heres an easy one for this time of year 6lb of blackberrys 5 pints of water 6ib of sugar boil and pooor it over the fruit.let it stand for 7 days stirring every day. strain and squeeze the pulp before throwing it away then strain through clean muslin. add sugar to the liquid and let it ferment for another 7 days. then skim and bottle corking lightly. i also add a touch of brandy or rum to help fortify it when bottling.
