squab 2,875 Posted January 15, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 15, 2014 The art of a good Welsh cake is to wrap them in a tea towel when you take them off the heat, it helps to keep them nice and fluffy. Thats where they these mass produced ones fall short imo and even though they keep well after cooking you won't get a better Welsh cake than one thats just been cooked.
