Surely 8 Months is a bit young to be lamping?? :hmm:

But if she's doing well and her confidence is soaring then why not???

An hour a week training with experience dogs is not to much for an 8 months pup at all.......she only get a couple of slips.....the rest of the time she's watching & learning

Alot of folk make a big deal about this.......what is differnece between walking you're dog.....which in turn chases a rabbit..... and walking with you're dog on a slip...and slipping it when you see rabbit....

Obviously, slip after slip aftr slip is a no no............... every single day

She's looking well Paul mate, will get some more pics of Cadie for you. I agree with what your doing with the pup,we did exactly the same thing with Charlie and Cadie. Took them out on the lamp and let them watch Todd. Then would take the rabbit or whatever he caught and throw it so far for the pup on the lamp and let them bring it back. Hope everything goes well mate. Charlies knocked his toe at the moment and is quite swollen round the knuckle so no off the lead activities for a week or so
