Very interesting topic,

I've often thought about this particular cross as in theory it makes the perfect allrounder...

collie/whippet x saluki/grey...

maybe with a touch of bull or deer or both. I guess though, as long as the dog does the job you want, does it matter how its bred, CONTROVASY !!

why the blue tape ? I thought at 1st maybe to protect its dew claws , but only 1 ?

surprised you're the first one to ask. He almost cut his stopper off start of the season. Let it completely heal but as soon as I ran him again it came open. So again I laid him up a couple of weeks but then instead of risking it coming open again I wrapped it every time I ran him. After 6 or so weeks of it being wrapped I thought it would be fine as it had looked good as new for 7 weeks now. Anyway second night's lamping it came straight back open in the exact same place same shape and everything. So I've been wrapping it ever since now, didn't wana miss any of the remaining season. It looks good as new again but when I squeeze it I can feel its still hard inside whereas the other ones completely spongy so I'm pretty sure it'd open up again if I didn't wrap it.

Few people have told me to get it taken off but he's obviously using it a lot or it wouldn't keep coming open.

Not really sure what to do....

Any ideas?

yeh leave it, carry on taping it while the season still here, then in the summer leave it to heal proper no tape. so with bit of luck 5-6 months it should be healed, but it wont its no big deal to tape them, its not affecting it running is it .? lot of times ive had tape my older dog to cover his dew claws , as he gets few probs now+then, I made sure my pup had his off .
