pie-eater 377
A lot of the warrens on my land are full of water so Ive not been out since just before Christmas. About this time last ear I was seeing baby rabbits about so that might be the end of the season for me. I hope to get one or two more sessions in though. Hows your land looking at the moment? GreyRake 108
Was at a farm on Saturday on a flood plain, floods in all the dips of the fields and not many rabbits anymore. Time for new higher ground. Quote Link to post

pie-eater 377
I know the weathers gone crazy last few years. They've been saying since October we are going to have a cold snap very soon Ive counted 6 decent frosts so far. Quote Link to post
The one 8,512
Ive different permission in different parts of the country so i can always find somewhere to ferret , i did it mainly with myxi in mind so if there was a outbreak i could still ferret elsewhere but its handy for this wet weather as well 1 Quote Link to post

Williampalmer 20
One of my permissions has the river meon running through it, 2 months ago the majority of rabbits were in a thick wood next to the river on the low ground, 4ft high brambles carpeted the wood so couldn't get at them, now the river has flooded they've all moved up into some high banks about 200 yards from the river and wood, nice open easy warrens no cover for them but they've got to go somewhere, been doing really well on it lately.
