Rabbit, Feral Pigeon And A Pheasant

Recommended Posts

Good video mate. Variety of game and a variety of guns too. Is that an air arms s410 and a browning b525?

It is an Air Arms s310, better than s410 in my view for one fundamental reason, and a Browning B525

I have a 410, cracking gun, whats the reason out of interest mate? did it come before the s400 even?

Lovely shotgun, shot one and fell in love, lad i know has the silver pigeon and prefers that, by most accounts the only difference is the engraving. You ever had the chance to shoot the silver pigeon?

The s410 is a great gun. The s300 came before the s400 and the s310 came before the s410. The reason it is better is because it was made before the anti tamper regulations came in. On the side of the breech there is a grub screw you can take out and if you put an allen key in there and turn you can adjust the power. This means you can adjust the power to suit the specific pellet you want to use, obviously using a chrono to keep it legal. Other than that it is identical to the s410 other than it doesn't have a pressure gauge or a safety, I don't need either!

Many people think their rifle is '12 ft lbs' but if they aren't using the pellet it was chrono'd with it may be over the limit or, more likely, only around 10 ft lbs at the muzzle.

I haven't shot a silver pigeon no but they are beautiful guns. I almost regret not getting one over the B525 now as apparently they are better for you if you suffer from left eye dominance, as I do. I need to get my B525 fitted to be honest.
