bluemancunian 4
Hi guys I am new to this forum so before I begin I would like to say hello to everyone ! I have owned a break barrel air rifle most of my adult years but last week bought a brand new Weirauch HW 100 kt . I am well pleased with my purchase but am worried that the rifle is making a noise and seems to be leaking air. As this is my first pcp I was wondering if this is ok and the rifle is supposed to do that or do I need to start arranging to take it back to where I bought it from. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I hope I have posted in the correct place. Thanks in advance , bluemancunian Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
Welcome mate. What do mean by making a noise? if you fill it up does it hold pressure overnight? There has been issues with leaks on some new rifles that's how I got mine cheap. Quote Link to post

There has been issues with leaks on some new rifles that's how I got mine cheap. I noticed the noise the first day I got it and thought it was something to do with a faulty battery in the scope but when I further investigated it was coming from where the magazine goes, the rifle had about 190 bar in it I fired about 10 pellets out of it then noticed it was on about 150 I got it out yesterday it was down to about 110 bar, then today 90. I have not yet put any air in myself but will do now and see how it goes tomorrow ( the only way I can describe the noise is , its like if you left an electrical device on and it makes a fuzzing noise ??!!!! ) Quote Link to post

As for pics I've got 3 not very good ones on my samsung s3, without sounding like a dunce !! how do I upload um ? Quote Link to post
