add a run out today with the ferrets,,,,blue sky all day,,,a perfect day for the job,,, a good amount was bolting, and dug 4 out of a dug end,,,11 was the most out of a set,the bad part of the day hell of a lot with marble size young in them,,,,may be this his down to sandy warm sets,,,or may be the winter what we have not add,,,we got 49 for 2.30,,and headed off down the road,,,,,mick and john dadd,,and me ,,,lol

Mate ive just got in and sorted from day out.Was gonna post post the same thing Bolted 17 no digs nice weather but nearly every doe was preggers some quite advanced Absoloutly gutted cant ferret this perm with young about nightmare to dig,and my other perm which had good numbers on is probably wiped out to flooding 2-3feet under f*****ing water

think we are lucky had since last friday ,no sign of any young in em ,,cant be long though now i was ferreting in shirtsleeves friday ,bloody strange winter this is ,,but snow will come soon sure as eggs are eggs

i still think hits when you get hedge rows woods,,, when you go on the fells moores,,,they will be behind,,,you may get the snow,,next week etc,,,but the damage his done,,there peggy by then,,, the snow needs to fall a week before xmas,,,on the shortest day,,,that will cock the breeding up,,,

too satisfy our selfs and more importantly land owners ,..........you have too make hay while the sun shines ,.......and when the sun doesn't shine for the coney then its tough luck , as there will be many years when it shines in favour of the coney......... depends on your demand ,......leaves you with little option sometimes... ...... I cant work around the coneys behavour unless its in my favour , otherwise its strictly unlucky for coneys......
