i have aquired a broken lightforce lamp. how do i get into it the rewire it is there any easy way.

on mine there's 2 red pieces on the handle that you press in and the iners slide out or un screw the lense. Try that?

if the fault is upper inside the handle you need to cut off the handle just above the on/off switch

to put the handle back i used glue and good old black nasty to put the handle back on

 

mine broke a few times before, the fault was on the inside but easy to fix without takeing off the handle so double check before you remove it lol

CUT THE HANDLE OFF WERE THE BULB IS THERE 3 METAL CLIPS PUSH THE 3 PINS TOGETHER THE FULL WIREING COMES STRIEGHT OUT OF THE PLASTIC SUROUND ITS A TWAT TO GET OUT ,I DID IT AND SNAPPED THE CIRCLE THING THE BULB SLOTS INTO GOOD LUCK POT FILLER

I run a car breakers yard and guess what i found ! a mint conditioned 170 striker lamp in an old scrapper couldnt believe my luck

where the on \off is there is a rubber cover on it pull that off and you can unscrew the switch and it will drop down the inside of the handle but most time the problem is just behind the red clips are as the wire enters the handle have a look at those first before you unscrew the switch

cheers for replies the fault was up at the top so i had to saw a bit off the back so that it dont effect the handle etc and now sorted just need to glue it back on and its a good en.
