One Four, one Four For A Copy. Cb Days?

Recommended Posts

Who was on the airwaves back in the day of the old CB's radios? i spent hours talking on the air and had some fun.does anyone still use them?i remember i had a Midland 100m with a high/low button, started off with a small airiel or whip as they were called connected to a base of a biscuit tin and then after a while upgraded to a ten foot dipole in the attic and played hell with interference on our telly and our neighbours tellies. must have been late 70s early 80s.my handle was bald eagle and i lived in porridge county. what was your handle and what was the cb name off your village?mad how you remember, its a sign of getting old.come on for a copy breaker breaker.

First time I got in trouble at primary school was for pinching loads of the CB radio books from Tandy (which were free) and selling them at school

Christ that brings it all back, those were there days of eyeballs, went to meet a girl in wales at her house, the mother was a nymphomaniac, you couldnt of carried enough willy to them,, my handle wa

Tandy was a good shop , used to have some cracking scanners

On The Side ..... Yeah, you got " Cat Stalker ", in Rome.

Started out with a Midland, 40 Channel. Upgraded to a Ham International Mayor. Then PX'd that one for some thing with Hi and Low.

It all went 10 - 1 when I got the Piazo base station power mike and started bleeding all over the f**king neighbourhoods TV's! Handy though, because that made me jack and I sold up ~ weeks before the whole thing collapsed and ye couldn't give a rig away.

Ironically, of course, the old AM 'Naughty Network' was self policing and generally ran very well. Moment they legalised that FM shit, of course, all ye'd ever pick up was twelve year old, feral kids, or c**ts with a transistor radio and a f**king rubber band.

Some savage craic while it lasted though.
