Lay on it in the winter and it will sap the heat straight from you. Put something a few inches under it in freezing conditions, and its a good insulator. Its likely to be that the ground, and the surface of the "puddle" in the entrance hole will freeze, but the water in the warren itself isn't likely to. Much like a puddle on tarmac. Rabbits are likely to be using alot of hedgerow cover at the moment (mine are all in the cotswold dry stone walls) as nearly all of the warrens on my land are underwater and the ground is waterlogged/1-2 inches underwater. Im suprised my bunnies aren't getting trench foot! Quote Link to post
