pianoman 3,587
WIEHRAUCH HW77. The finest sub-12ft/lb underlever sporting air rifle in the world. You'll not find an easier-to-live-with, more accurate spring rifle than this German masterpiece. 1 Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
The 77 is a masterclass of engineering, I have one from the early 90s, beaten up, does not look to have been serviced, ever, still recoils only slightly, still accurate, still quiet, still making 10.46 ft lb energy, what she will be like after a strip down, reblue and vmach I can only dribble about! I have a wide variety of spring powered delights, but the mighty 77 has to be at the top of them. (There I said it and never even mentioned a Hatsan 60S once...) 1 Quote Link to post
magnummike 39
I bought a HW77 .177 in 1993 and sold it to a mate about a year later for a HW8O my mate has had it since then . A few weeks ago I made him an offer he could not refuse and now its mine again I took it down to Tony at SFS for a stage 1 tune the other week and now cant wait to get the old girl back . Tuned 25mm piston 77 does not get much better than that I recon IMHO ATB Mike Quote Link to post
