paulus 26
new experiences take time to become acceptable sticking by you is safe, be careful though i have witnessed pups get broken legs when running about with older dogs Quote Link to post
mattythelamper 73
I guess its safer for the pup if its walking by my side Quote Link to post
tsteve9999 456
How olds the pup mate? My pups 13 weeks now and has been out with me and the old dog for the last week or so. Mines gone from barely leaving my side to following the old dog 20 or 30 yards and then coming back in that time, it's natural if they are very young for them to be scared of being out in the big wide world alone and stay close to you. Also if it's very young it's not a good idea for it to be playing with an adult by chasing, if the dog hits the pup at full pelt by accident it will do some damage. 1 Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,626
I wish mine would just walk to heel instead of completely ignoring me while he's off trying to chew the terriers head off because it drives me mad the little shite ? Quote Link to post
