sandymere 8,263
Same scenario here Stig Tendon in right shoulder tore thru ( rotator Cuff ) same diognosis Op job Left shoulder has a Bursary, if i dont watch it then it will also progress to a tear. While waiting for a Op ask for a cortisone injection. Helps no end. Think you mean an inflamed Bursae ( bursitis ) in the shoulder rather than a shoulder bursary, although if your shoulder has an educational income it would help with the post op time off work. If it’s the latter I want one, where'd you get it?? http://www.shoulderdoc.co.uk/article.asp?article=1182 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bursary Sorry, not a good joint to feck up. bird 9,856
just update from today,,thanks lads,it looks like I might have to have a OP ,to day seen a doctor who said the bone that pushed out will only go back with a op. He said you can live with it, but depends on what movement I get with it now. ive got to the see a surgeon 20th this month and talk to him about it as the risks with the op, as some times it don't always work, and could get arthricis in it , plus these the chance it could slip again as the doctor said that they have to shave bit of the bone to get in again, but as said this the doc talking, but will see what the surgeon says on the 20th. right now it hurts to lift it up, don't knowit its because its the dislocation it self or because all the nerves +ligaments have been stretched that's stoping lifting it if that makes sence . I suppose if its out, and the pain wears off it carnt slip again one way of looking at it. if op will be out of action for6-8 weeks with physio, and that prob worrying me with the dogs, my wife would struggle with Buck he to powerful for her might be ok with Bryn but not sure with either, she not really a dog person . so got hell of a lot on my mind at moment, but see what the surgeon says ?
