leegreen 2,173
Lets you see what your dogs capable of and less injurys and gives the rabbit a sporting chance is that alright leegreen its not all about catching every thing Depends on what you want. Personally I know what my dogs are capable of. Rabbits around these parts are pests and good food so the more are caught the better. Also you'll never catch everything. So no northernlight, that's not alright I understand the less injurys bit but that is the only benefit I can see. Quote Link to post

Not knocking the lad for running 3 dogs on a bunnie used to do it myself but there was nothing worse when your 3 muts a chasing a rabbit and another one bolts and all your muts are away after another as you say there pests down your way and you no be wanting any to get away lol 1 Quote Link to post

rory 58
Don't usually run 3, that's when some are young. I prefer to run 2, but run them seperate as well. Each to there own, everyone is different and has different situations. I don't like keeping them on the slip though, like to see them use their senses to react. 1 Quote Link to post
