DazAllison1 556
Getting back into doing abit of serious digging and the old mk3 I have just dosnt cut the mustard compared to my mates bellman, so I'm going to treat myself to a new setup for next season and was certain on the red bellman setup but after reading another theard I saw folk saying the barryvox pulse with the bellman collar is better, I'm after folks thoughts on this through personal experiance, which do you think is best? lucky 578
I tried the long range deben when they first came out and found it very inaccurate, I just could not get on with it and the noise it made was enough to drive me mad, it was like something off a computer game. As for them being accurate upto 6" I don't think it makes much difference if you dig your hole big enough your gonna drop right on the dog anyway. I've used both the peips and barryvox and didn't see any difference really both had the same result. I've also heard the BCA tracker is very good value but I've not seen one used myself. the goat 642
Sold my barryvox to buy the new bellman, haven't bought the new bellman yet but iv been using one a while it does the job but the barryvox was definitely more accurate. Either another barryvox or a bca tracker seems to be the new bit of kit but il wait and see Quote Link to post

TOPPER 1,809
the barryvox is far better than the pieps or the red brick hold your bellman collar 300mm away from the box then push them together the pieps will read .3 the brick will go down to .2 and your barryvox will go 0.0 and its a lot faster than the bellman so any movement will register quicker the old pieps box its a 2-3 second delay the brick is a bit quicker were as a barryvox is instant and the barryvox doesnt jump about like the bellman IMO the barryvox and bellman collar [made by barryvox] are the best out there there quick spot on accurate robust 5 year warranty , the BCA tracker 2 ive been playing with is good and spot on accurate and cheap and very robust with a good on/off switch that doesnt get full of shite , you pays your money and takes your chance buy what you like but theres better stuff out there than the bellman box personally i cant wait for barryvox to bring out a terrier locater and collar [ bellman made by barryvox] they have said it will be out for july/ august and its based on the barryvox pulse Quote Link to post

mongoose 39
I had a barryvox pulse, It was good till it went wrong, even though it was only a year old the customer service was crap and they wouldn't repair it. I then had to buy a new one and I brought the bellman and I have had no problem with it. 1 Quote Link to post
