fox digger 1,086
I haven't dug for years , I got a whippet curled up on the sofa next too me ..........those days are gone for me ........ but I can have an opionion about taping collars up as ......be honest that's the first ive ever heard of it ......... ive never seen any one use a taped collar , and firstly the flashing light is a load of Horlicks and taping it up because it keeps getting bitten and ripped apart is also a new one and I seen a few hunt terrier men and ive never seen them do it .........well there obviously not seeing as much as this lad going out every sunday with his beagles........ I personally believe you will have the odd accident and scuffs on drains and rocks , but cant work out how redun is behind the dogs head sometimes and biting the collar......I haven't seen enough too judge obviously,.....I aint lieing I cannot see it being too common , but maybe im wrong ......and to be honest its fecking petty ........... time to pull out the trump card! if there wasnt a problem with the ends getting pulled off ask bellman and flint why they re-designed the new collar and have the end caps placed differently in the new collars, ie end caps encased in the clear tube rather than prominant at the ends like they always were....... im not an expert i just use them! https://www.bellmanandflint.co.uk/images/detail/1905.jpg Edited January 9, 2014 by fox digger Quote Link to post

Why would the fox be behind the dogs head? The collar sits under the dogs chin to the side, not behind its head. 1 Quote Link to post

alimac 882
Dipped mine in bitchamin paint today, went out this afternoon, my bolting / call out dog took a right shoeing, I even had to get the spade dirty & rescue it. Wtf is that all about ?!?!? So I conclude that foxes are scared of the wee flashing light, so I'm busy rigging some Xmas lights to my bellman, lol Quote Link to post
