Another well thought out idea by the goverment 'Not.

Give the tennents the cash direct to pay landlords because this gives them responsibility lol lol ffs

Responsibility ha Mp's just dont live in the real world .

They so far removed from whats going on wouldnt you say Baw ?

Them getting housing benefit are just putting two Fingers up to landlords and Dhs.

I'd get rid of all the mp's and your 2 finger salute didn't go unnoticed lol

plenty of places like that most the kids I look after come from similar back grounds, sure the TV [peeps like to show the extremes but lots of people live like that, they have no real stake in society

do they get paid for it?surely no c**t in there right mind would let someone film them at thier lowest point in life for f**k all.

Place needs culling like the West country TB virus !

Sorry I forgot this was the hunting life.

Paulus....you sell me a dog for £500, as a favour cause your so nice you let me pay it up with my benefits for £50 a month for 10 months. After 4 months you don't recieve your money so you contact me and I don't answer. A month goes by and you get a hold of me and I give you a story about being skint. Since your so nice you let me off and say aslong as it's paid that's ok. We are now another 2 months down the line and your not getting your money. You hear/see that I'm at the pub and booking a nice wee holiday. What do you do??

I await a long winded (and ironically) a politicians reply??...:-)

i sure as fook wouldn't come on here and whine about it, i also wouldn't assume you were spending the money in the pub or a holiday, people see what they want to see  makes them feeling better when doing the dirty on some poor single mother who they are about to throw out on the street just as the weathers due to freeze and who will have to put her babies into care or the workhouse, all so you get your 25 quid a week :laugh:

we had a tenant the same, paid the first couple of mths then a week late, then no rent, then damage to the house

I was sick of going round knocking on the door while the tw*t thought I could.nt see him behind the curtains..

so it got to the point where I'd had enough and said your out

then I got the water works and him trying to give me the rent, so took the rent and gave him his date to get out

that's when the fun started, went to change the locks and he's bolted in, so nothing you can do apparently?

saw him in the street 2days later then he tells me, I don't know who I'm messing with and what he can do to me

so as the words were leaving his gob my forehead connected with his nose

he was gone that day, and it cost a fortune to put the damage right he caused

apparently the tenant has more rights than the landlord

they pay the tenant the housing benefit now, so when they stop someones benefits their responsible for the rent

not the benefits office, which if paid direct they would be

best way to rent out is though an agent!! cost's but non of this hassle plus your money is guaranteed!

Getting back to the thread! i do not believe anything i see on tv these days! the media in this country is very good at editing story's to make them look 10 times worse than what they are! and if it was true there was enough evidence to put them actors in jail! its make's me wonder how come the media can find extreme examples like these! yet when it come's to jimmy savelle and co! nothing.

its a good tactic though to blame the poor for everything! stops us looking where the blame really lie's! brainwashing as most are to thick to think for themselves, easier to believe what they read in the scum and daily fail.

plenty of places like that most the kids I look after come from similar back grounds, sure the TV [peeps like to show the extremes but lots of people live like that, they have no real stake in society at large and simply exist in a nether world with its own rules and values, most of em are pretty happy with their lot to be fair and have no expectation of things getting any better, Shame its used by the media as a way of whipping up unrest and hatred of the poor, again a smoke screen to protect those that put us all in this shameful situation, however the bankers and politicians ect still come up smelling of roses, they still retain the money and lifestyle etc, one weeks its doleys next single mothers week after shop lifters, never a programme about corrupt politicians or shady bankers etc maybe go look around there houses and see how they have profited from our misery etc nah its far easier to turn us all against each other with a few shitty programmes aimed at winding the masses up against each other, lets have it straight them lot iont hat programme did not fetch this country to its knees so taking a few quid of em all a week will not repair the damage , emptying a few banker accounts would easily do something to repair the damage, but they won't do that cos every one needs someone else to look down on make emselves feel better

one thing that I did see in that programme was that at least, they have a sense no matter how distorted of 'community' helping each other out, how many are like that on these posh yuppy type estates, there your neighbour more than likely enjoy your downfall, countries fooked and they just trying to divert attention and blame to wrong places imho

I normally find it hard to agree with Lab, but I really do in this case.

I agree it's unfortunate for someone on benefits to have their money cut for whatever reason, but if they then decide they haven't got the money to pay the full rent, who is actually £100 a month worse off? The person on benefits still has exactly the same money as before, but the landlord suffers the full effect of the cut.

If I was a landlord, I couldn't care less if my tenant had 3 caribbean holidays a year, as long as it was AFTER they paid their rent - otherwise it's the landlord and only the landlord who is paying for someone else to take a holiday.

I totally know where labs coming from, some expect everything for nothing in return

and use the benefit system to take then through life

and don't put their prioritys in order

whats more important a roof over your head or a holiday

she knows labs misses will give her a reference to say shes a good tenant

who wouldn't theres nothing worse than a bad tenant

our last one was great looked after the house like it was his own

just different people different morals

Hitler considered the masses, that being you and me, to be thick and easy to manipulate and to be fair, he did pretty well at manipulating the population of Germany  Our politicians tell us "were all in it together", "more cuts into 2014/15", "five more years of cuts", while at the same time, David Cameron's hairdresser is getting an MBE and those hair cuts cost Cameron £90 :icon_eek: There is a hairdresser in the houses of parliament that charges, £20, obviously not expensive enough for big Dave  They take us to war based on lies, manipulate the tax system to suit the super rich, help their school chum banker mates to keep their bonuses and they know full well that as long as they throw the odd crumb to the masses, they will be just fine.

The power at the heart of this country play the population like an orchestra through media manipulation, control of finances, fear over security and our own greed and jealousy against us.

The rent thing though is simple enough for me................if you can afford booze and holidays you can afford your rent

It's a set formula with reality TV shows to show disfunction and negativity.......boring and normal has no "entertainment" value.

Anyway, here's a question.......when it comes to the government is it "use or be used"? :)
