Yes [bANNED TEXT] they dont vet their occupants and move the dregs of sociaty into their properties some time's in decent areas makeing every fookers life a misery who live their. You could have a point there. In this case it's not. The girl once lived there, is friendly with neighbours and wants things to stay that way. I think maybe she should look for people who are working but you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. As said before my girls on benefits too but she works as well and she would be an excellent tenant making sure her rent was paid first instead of pissing of on a nice wee holiday. The post wasent aimed at and you are right to be pissed of with her any body in their right mind would be.Its the landlords who put those that have been evicted from other properties due to anti social behaviour and other problems that then cause problems for others. Bang on mate. The girl had 5/6 replies for renting the place in 1 hour of putting it on Facebook so hopefully she can get a long standing tenant now with know worries. I'd love to be able to buy properties and rent out and build a pension scheme for the future. But when you read some of the replies it shows there's no point. Malt 379 Posted January 7, 2014 Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 You do talk a lot of pish sometimes Paulus. no pish mate, facts. there available if you look rather than believe what the politicians tell you. landlords jumped on the rent rebate band wagon, guaranteed payments, milked it for all it was worth, increased rents every year and reaped the benefits, whole portfolios built up on the back of housing benefit. then when the rules change, all their tenants become scrounger and druggies overnight, wages kept artificially low by the use of tax credits etc, the tax payer paying the tax payer, the employers love it the grey vote purchased by a back hander called the winter fuel allowance Spot on Paulus.. The biggest con to the taxpayer is the minimum wage/tax credit system. All it does is subsidise employers so they can pay a wage that it is impossible to live on. No tax credits and the likes of Tesco, local authorities and the other big employers wouldn't be able to fill positions.
