Nik_B 3,790
Use a credit card but mine is set up to pay the full amount off each month. Gives me breathing room while waiting to be paid. Almost never borrow money. Drive a 13 year old car and don't even have carpets in some rooms...I pay in cash or go without. I have the best credit score you can get...wonder why lol they'd love to get me loaded up with debt.

You sure about that? All your utility's are paid by having credit ,,, but I know what you mean,,,I've had cards and probs,, never again My bills ain't paid by having credit , if I don't have money I don't have electric lol

Nik_B 3,790
Paying up front is no different to a regular gas bill. Neither are really credit. I do meter readings every two or three weeks to stay on top of it.

It's because people with a lot of (good) credit to their name have a history of paying it back and earning their creditors money. It don't matter how much debt you're in, if you have a history of paying on time they'll bite your hands off to give you more..

They may have heeps of debt but as long as they are handling it well and not missing payments then they are going to be grade A people for more credit.

air gun ant 1,666
I pay about £500 a month out to a couple loans and car finance + half of whatever our mortgage and bills add up to. But I've never missed a payment and my credit score is a bloody good one. I can't afford to eat for 2 weeks of the month but that's why I shoot, fish, ferret and get out with dogs, I'm happy enough
Lab 10,979
I've been great with money all my life...always worked hard for the stuff I've bought. Over the last few years I have been pretty skint and when I've asked for a bit help from the bank they be as well have said "f**k off!!!!". If I could do it all again id get loans here there and everywhere so I cold build up a credit rating. I can't even get a f***ing couch on tic ffs!!!!!
