Last years comp was much more than fishing in the end, it turned into a good social event aswell and that is what I want to try and achieve. The job stewie did for the last one was second to none and

Lab - there are taxis mate....... I think. I'll check because its the middle of fecking no where.

Hay min - aye a couple of quid might convince someone. At the moment we've picked our river, just looking into acom.

It's got some decent b and bs a few mins away, couple of pubs, shops and hopefully somewhere to camp river side.

Do folk want the pres etc in a pub or would a gazebo / marquee in a field and some crates of booze be ok? With a BBQ or hog roast?

The problem is Jai, you'll be pulled all over as everyone wants something different... Choose the place, and where we'll camp etc... Those that don't want it won't come.. You can't please everyone mate... I'd say your looking at 30 or so camping and probably 20 fishing this year, that should be enough to let you and John sort a venue etc... Once you have let us all know where it is....

After chatting to jb, it looks like well try to stick to a river, probably the wye. There will most likely be some kind of small day ticket fee, but that's pretty unavoidable round here. But should be cheap enough. Well have to work on a place to camp, not easy with the numbers but well find somewhere. Ideally a farm so we don't bother anyone else. If not well try a local campsite but peak family season and us lot might be a recipe for disaster lol.
