your tellin me back to the porridge that's me and the dogs on it now for the winter . I used to have it cold pour in the oats in a bowl cold milk and plenty sugar FM . @ stig iv got a 10 foot old church pew perfect conduction how much worth ta )
loads about plain one 100 -150 fancy one 150-225-----pine and oak are better sellers than mahogany-----i`ve bought a few cheap painted them and knocked em out ...

they`ve only just got the lead back on the roof that went missing just before last years fishing comp :laugh:

On a positive note, all that fundraising.........it doesn't half pull a community together! :laugh:

they have been around for years stig lol ,every wed my maw bought me one coming home from primary school.she had a half day from work,as the town closed a wed afternoon. did anyone elses town close half day years ago?

it is i buy it. especially in the winter. you can buy easy to cook sachets,but i prefer the old method. only f*****g time my old man ever cooked was to make porridge lol

My old man used to make porridge really thick... like the consistency of cement! ...

 

And sugar wasnt measured by spoonfulls....

 

It was a few (a lot) of shakes from the sugar pot....

 

If you didnt eat it quick... it would cool down... and be too hard to eat :laugh: ....

They used to keep it in a special draw once it had cooled down and hardened and eat lumps of it throughout the day up there! :laugh:
Yip....was poured into the bottom drawer when my grandad was a kid and chunks were cut out as 'treats'...lol

I thought that only happened in the Broons :D
