I ain't got a dedicated course/freshwater rod, I've got a fair old selection of sea rods though. What sort of one would be best to take? I'm thinking my 12ft beach caster is a bit heavy but I've got various other rods from a 10ft bass/spinning rod down to a really light action spinner. :hmm: What sort of strength line do I need, what sized hooks, what type of traces, etc? I'd be really grateful of some assistance!

And you honestly think you'll get helpful tips off people you'll be in competition with?
