Some thing to do with Stocking up ?

 

You can go and do the shopping after lamping now whats that all about ? lol :laugh:

 

 

Doubt it mate, it was probably because folk were happier to get by on what they earned instead of being greedy. Suppose a lot of the shops were smaller, had low numbers of staff and were open monday to saturday. They only had sundays and wednesday afternoons as time off.

Yes, but the fuss they make in Tescos if i forget to take my gun off my shoulder. Not worth the hassle.

they have been around for years stig lol ,every wed my maw bought me one coming home from primary school.she had a half day from work,as the town closed a wed afternoon. did anyone elses town close half day years ago?

your thinking of lucky bags you dafty ,,,, :D

they have been around for years stig lol ,every wed my maw bought me one coming home from primary school.she had a half day from work,as the town closed a wed afternoon. did anyone elses town close half day years ago?

your thinking of lucky bags you dafty ,,,, :D

Never heard of them in 20 odd years....now that is a blast from the passed. I remember being young and going to the corner shop that had all the tubs of sweets. You had to get about 10-15p measured out cause you couldn't afford a quarter. If I'm in Z shop and they have those tubs I always treat myself to a quarter. Last time it was Butternuts...;-)

found a shop in town ===flying saucers :yes: ... when we were kids 6 of us went for lucky bags my 5 mates got a parachutists i got blow football for 1... :D

used to be friday in our house me n me brother used to head into town the old man always used to hit our brut and barry white was left on the record player :D and he only used to go out on a friday once a month ;)
