A shot in the dark, four guys small bald one? Out today ? Had a pup ? Yes could be anyone?but had another day fixing your digging exploits on farms ! Philips etc., where we've dug and looked after qua

and we wonder why hunting is trying to be outlawed........ what would it be like if terrier work was totally banned, if a terrier wasnt left enter the ground again regardless of circumstances, protec

I think some of you are missing the point here, the issue isn't the farmer letting other lads on the land, it's his land he can let who ever he likes on it, the issue is their destroying earths, leavi

Sounds like the farmers are at fault allowing them to leave them in this way if I did that id be gone ... also do you not keep in touch with the farmers eg call before you go or xmas drinks ??? maybe they got desperate if they thought you'd packed in even so no need to leave spots a mess

and we wonder why hunting is trying to be outlawed........ what would it be like if terrier work was totally banned, if a terrier wasnt left enter the ground again regardless of circumstances, protection of game birds or any other reason, who would we blame?? we would have nobody to blame only our own who do there upmost to be wreckless, kill everything and leave all the evidence for every joe to see and give the other party all the ammunition they need to put there case forward that terrier work should be banned.....

nobody, be they pro hunt, fence sitters or antis want to see remains thrown around a hole or just in a place where it is obvious that terrier men did this... or holes destroyed, earths are an animals refuge from the elements at the end of the day and need to be put back as they were found. hang yer heads in shame if ye are reading this lads in the discovery. who will ye blame if its stopped altogether? its only a little extra effort to do it the right way and everyone would be happy.

just my opinion.

He is not going to say where it is, why would he? So any one reading this can go their thinking the farmers give permission to anyone, I was there and it was a disgrace, it looked like a world war 1 film with all the trenches.
Wolfie has had this permission and loads more in the area for over 10 years, and never had any problems with land owners or residents in the area, it's hard to get round all them in a season when working 6 days a week with a young family, but the farmers have had his number and if their was a real problem a quick phone call would make them a priority.

wolfie and timmy id say you need to build a far better relationship with your farmers/land owners theres got to be something amiss you need to butter them up tell them when your going to be there give a hand on the farm if need be but your deffo not close enough with them or not doing the job or they wouldn t be letting a bunch of manc s on to trash the place

you don't have to say the exact farm do you?

all the areas I've mentioned are quite big with plenty of farms

but likes been said the farmer must of thought youd stopped going?

I take it, it was in Cheshire then,? had the same happen on one of my permissions last year

theres not many farmers will let lads go on their land without keeping a check on what there doing

especially if he doesn't know them

I think some of you are missing the point here, the issue isn't the farmer letting other lads on the land, it's his land he can let who ever he likes on it, the issue is their destroying earths, leaving them half back filled and dead quarry hanging out of them for all to see.

I'm not going to tell where it is, it's not my permission, but what I will say is I have my own permission that I know another group of lads go on and they seem to leave everything in good order as do I, hence no problems with any party's involved, just the way it should be.

Back filling, nobody

Iike's it but its much easier than digging and it's all part of the sport we love so dearly so, do your jobs properly and save the few decent lads on here and putting posts up like this. People on here would kill for decent permo and some lads can't even look after there's properly

And you've seen it first hand and fixed a fair few holes too lol. But your back filling is amazing and no one will ever know esp when you have objects to disguise it well lol

Thing is most farmers I know wouldnt give a shit about what state the earth was left in if the lads there were killing foxes. It ain't about the sport for them, they just want the foxes gone. If you ain't shown your face for a while and someone else comes in to offer their services and kills a load of foxes it makes no odds to the farmer. I'm sorry but you can't expect to keep sole permission somewhere and keep the cowboys out if you ain't going there often enough.. JMO..
