Guest SJM
Simple solution to this one, I think you should give her to me and I will let her chase as many rabbits as it takes for her to get fed up, if she still likes chasing them after a week or two of that, well she wont be any good to you anymore so you should just let me keep her hehe Quote Link to post
doxhope 2
I had the same trouble with mine matie, but mine brung back 100 in one night, only joking, Quote Link to post
chester 147
give her to me mate she will have to run a few miles to find a rabbit as i have them under control round about me so will have to content her self with going in the car lookin for thair bigger cousins after a few seasons i should have broken the habbit for you and you can get her back . Lennard 10
If that is a serious question...I'd say you can't stop it. Catching is self rewarding. Keep her on a leash. I have to do the same here, when there is a wif of rabbit scent or just a memory of a rabbit my old bitch will be gone. Real nice looking dog BTW... L Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
Funnily enough I was just talking to a friend on the phone as I read this, and she was telling me (she has a Sauli type lurcher) that where she 'exercises' the dog a lot of pet people walk their dogs, and they are forever coming up to her asking how they can stop their dogs chasing the hares!!!!!
